APEX Pacific Partners Advisors, LLC (“APPA”) is a private real estate investment company that focuses on multi-family residential (including development transactions), office, retail, industrial and hotel asset opportunities in the major gateway cities and markets of the western United States.

APPA’s principals are real estate investment professionals, who have a combined 75+ years of experience and have invested and managed across the various asset classes in a wide-range of markets in the US, Asia and Europe, and through all phases of the real estate cycle.

APPA’s focuses on markets and assets that offer the best opportunities to manage risk, while delivering strong cash flow and healthy appreciation of equity. The firm has a disciplined and comprehensive approach to both acquisitions and due diligence, and has the asset/property management capabilities, including repositioning and development expertise, to create and enhance long term value.

Our Mission

Our mission is to identify and capitalize on investment opportunities in income-producing and new development real estate assets in major gateway city markets of the Western U.S. with traditionally strong fundamentals. We focus on value-added opportunities in office, industrial, retail, multi-family residential and limited-service or boutique hotel assets, as well as new development of multi-family residential assets, that we believe can offer attractive risk-adjusted returns on deployed capital based on our ability to successfully execute repositioning strategies that are grounded in our active research.

APPA seeks to fund acquisitions internally as general partner, along with outside limited partner equity interests, limiting the use of high levels of leverage. As a result of this strategy, our typical transaction size ranges between $10 million and $50 million. We focus on real estate assets in gateway cities and markets that are in transition and we endeavor to identify special situations that afford us the opportunity to acquire good-quality existing assets or development properties at realistic prices located in such markets. Our research indicates that these types of assets provide attractive risk-adjusted returns.
